Service Plumber
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This individual must be willing to pursue, develop and participate in continuing education. The Service Technician must meet or exceed shop minimums set for the Dot Program or its equivalent.
Must know local plumbing codes and be able to apply them in a practical manner on each job. Must be able to work with inspectors, suppliers and co-worker technicians to ensure correct project work, while abiding by all codes. Must be able to draw simple riser diagrams and be able to read them. Capable of plumbing techniques such as soldering, pipe threading, drain cleaning, fixture installation, gas leak testing and repair.
Residential HVAC Installer
The essential functions of the HVAC Installation Technician are to serve the customers of the company by installing heating and air conditioning systems with an emphasis on quality installations, performed efficiently and following all applicable local and national codes. Maintain a reputation for quality installations, as well as keeping the customer informed of what is being done as well as when and how it will be done.
Complete all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner; work with and train any installation helpers which may be assigned to work to you; complete and sign-off on all Job Quality Checklists; maintain the equipment and inventory in your truck for maximum efficiency; attend weekly 7:30 Monday morning installation meetings; attend company or vendor training as required; maintain any necessary licenses or certifications which may apply; exhibit professional conduct at all times, whether at the job site or driving
company vehicles.
Residential HVAC Technician
